Extreme Corrosion Environment Package

DBS Stainless Steel drive units are designed for operation in highly corrosive environments such as domed or covered waste treatment thickeners and industrial ph reactive applications. Drive housings are constructed from ASME SA240 Stainless Steel, and optional in 304 and 316 stainless. The electric motor is furnished in stainless steel model as is the housing for the torque overload controls.

The heart of this drive is a new patent-pending bearing arrangement. The bearing can operate with little or no lubrication, is unaffected by water contamination, and is designed to last 30-50 years! When service is required, the bearing can easily be replaced with out removing drive from the clarifier.

DBS typical chemical - mechanically applied coating supplied include urethane coatings, epoxy coatings, zinc-rich coatings, and industrial severe service coating systems.
